TERMS & CONDITIONS

... apply to all services provided by yogapeople either paid or free of charge, i.e. for all yoga classes, workshops, events, retreats, individual lessons, bookings and consultations and the like. If you use the service(s) of yogapeople , you declare that you are in agreement with the terms and conditions listed here in a legally binding manner. Different agreements or special cases must be agreed on in writing with yogapeople  otherwise they are not valid.

Prices and terms of payment

You can find the prices for the respective service that you are interested in on the home page. The costs for all other events and workshops can be found on the corresponding page for the service.  

As soon as you register for one of the services, your registration and the resulting payment are considered legally binding . Registration for an offer is generally online , unfortunately no mat space can be guaranteed without online registration via the booking system. The full payment can be made online when registering. 


Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the memberships are valid from the time of purchase for the described period of validity. The period of validity of the subscription cannot be extended by you during the term. Memberships on your account must be paid in in full within one week of the invoice being issued.  

You can register online for the regular weekly yoga classes up to two hours before the start of the class. Individual classes / coaching / events and workshops must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

 

Validity of memberships & cancellation conditions

& Cancellation of classes

The memberships and individual classes you purchased automatically expire after their expiry date, even if the service (yoga classes) has not been used. Paid services (memberships, yoga classes, workshops, etc.) will not be reimbursed. Memberships cannot be transferred to other people. Memberships can be extended once for a maximum of two weeks due to absence, vacation or absence for professional reasons. Annual memberships can be extended for a total of three weeks. In the event of prolonged illness, accident or pregnancy the term of the subscription can be interrupted upon presentation of a doctor's certificate. If yoga classes are canceled for a week or longer due to illness or vacation of the yoga teacher subscriptions will be extended accordingly.  

 

Regularly scheduled yoga classes, can be canceled at short notice by the yoga teacher at any time . In this case, the participants will be informed by email as soon as possible - but no later than 2 hours before the yoga class. Services booked and paid online will be credited if the session is canceled (no reimbursement, usable within one month). For canceled workshops / events / retreats the entire amount will be reimbursed if cancelled by yogapeople.

All regular yoga classes take place with at least two participants. If a yoga class does not take place due to insufficient number of participants: If you are registered for such a class you will receive a notification by email at least two hours before the booked service. Individual classes paid online will be credited to you and can be used within one month.

If you are registered for a regular yoga class online, you can unsubscribe by email up to 12 hours before the start of the class without giving a reason. As soon as we have received your message in good time, we will confirm receipt of your cancellation. Any individual classes that have been paid for will be credited to you towards the next classes (usable within one month, no reimbursement). If you cancel less than 12 hours before the start of the class, you will have to pay for your mat space in full according to the respective fees.

As soon as you register for an Event, workshop or a retreat online, your registration is mandatory. If you are unable to attend, you have the option of finding a replacement to take your place. This requires a written notification by email with all the information (name, mobile phone number, etc.) of the replacement person and the subsequent online registration of the new participant. If you cannot find a replacement, you can cancel free of charge up to four weeks before the event / workshop / retreat. Payments already made online will be refunded to you. Cancellations up to two weeks before the event / workshop / retreat will be credited at 50%, if you cancel less than two weeks before the event / workshop / retreat, you still have to pay the fees in full. Events / workshops / retreats not attended cannot be compensated for or reimbursed. If you cannot come to the event / workshop / retreat for personal reasons (illness, job, etc.), there is no entitlement to a reduction or reimbursement of the fees.

Cancellations for Coaching and private classes ("Next level")  are only accepted if you unsubscribe by email at least 24 hours before the start of the class. The fees will then be credited to you towards a new appointment (redeemable within one month): i.e. a new appointment can be arranged. In the case of last-minute cancellations, the class will not be credited or refunded.

Participation & personal responsibility & liability

If you contact the yoga teacher when registering for a service from yogapeople  or if you do not expressly inform otherwise before the start of the lesson, yogapeople assumes that you have no health concerns to participate in the yoga class / event / workshop or retreat. We require your personal responsibility and mental as well as physical resilience in all services used (yoga classes etc.). In the event of restrictions or concerns, you should consult your participation in a yogapeople service with a doctor / expert beforehand. 

If you feel uncomfortable physically or psychologically during a class, please inform the yoga teacher immediately. You are also responsible for your well-being and health during the service (e.g. yoga class). Under no circumstances are you required to perform an exercise that you are uncomfortable with. You can skip an exercise, take a break or leave the class at any time. Your health is your responsibility. Of course we are concerned about your well-being and your safety while you are using a yogapeople service and do our best to protect you from possible accidents or mishaps. But we carry no liability whatsoever. Compensation for damages is excluded. The use of the premises and the equipment is at your own risk, you are responsible for the security of your valuables. We do not accept any liability in the event of theft.

If we have concerns about your participation in an event (yoga classes, etc.), we reserve the right to send you home / to the doctor before the start of the event or during the event.
